Britain’s Luna Records returns this April with a release titled ‘Salad Fingers’ from label founder Paul Bowen.
Since its launch North England’s Luna Records has championed both fresh and established producers alike, with artists such as DJ W!ld, Matthias Tanzamann, Justin Drake, Chris Lattner and Alexkid all releasing on the imprint over the last 5 years. Furthermore Paul Bowen has proven to be an excellent producer himself by releasing on the likes of VIVa Music and Decay Records when not advocating his own imprint.
‘Rusty Spoon’ lays down a heady groove built on punchy kicks and subtle toms whilst coercing a tone of ethereality courtesy of sweeping pads and an incomprehensible spoken sample. Meanwhile
‘Rumpus’ introduces a sultry bassline topped with infectious rimshots, spectral atmospherics and pulsating chords for mesmerising results.
Paul Bowen ‘Salad Fingers’ EP is released on Luna Records on May 2015.
